1. Disability Name- Arthritis
2. Description
Arthritis has been described as the disorder or the disability which affects the joints like the knee. This type of disorder gives an indication of the pains from a very early stage. It cannot be judged from the first, and the physician gets troubled by its issues of arthritis. The normal homely and the basic medicines can help in giving temporary relief but the pains again erupts. There have been various forms of arthritis which have been common for the people now. The small children have been equally suffering from it. First the pain has been reduced due to weights loss and exercise.
The kinds of the arthritis are osteoarthritis which is actually a degenerative joint disease. The next one is the rheumatoid arthritis. This affects both the hands and the feets is greatly making a person incapable to do work. Other common types are the gout, lupus and the septic arthritis. All these diseases form an incredible part of the rheumatoid arthritis (Firestein & McInnes, 2017). The medicines which have been used for it are ibuprofen and the paracetamol. The focus of arthritis, reported by the doctors that the osteoarthritis has been affecting people by 4% and rheumatoid arthritis by 2.1%.
It has been seen that this arthritis is a lifelong disease and cannot be cured. Even if it gets reduced it has been the chinese of getting aroused again. Therefore, it has been highly recommended by the doctors to do proper exercise from a very early stage of life. The exercise can help in making the passage of the fluid in the body proper and prevention from arthritis (Barbour, Helmick Boring & Brady, 2017). It has been seen that various kinds of people have been suffering from various arthritis depending on their body structure and form.
3. Impairment
It has been noted previously that arthritis has been making the joints of the body stiff. The common symptoms are joint pain, syffess, redness and swelling in the muscles. The basic impairment of it is the applying of the ice and heat which can give off temporary relief. Additionally, the poor sleep, muscle aches, fatigue also swells up from this arthritis. Osteoarthritis is the deadliest one. It first begins in the cartilage and causes the two opposite bones to erode (Meade, Manolios, Cumming, Conaghan & Katz, 2018). Abnormalities in case of osteoarthritis reach the level of impairment like jon swelling, malalignment.
The impairment of rheumatoid arthritis has been in two ways. 1) Inflammation of the joints which can be checked by the tender, painful and the swollen counts of joints. 2) Deformity of the joints which can be checked by deformed joint count. There have been other types of arthritis like the gout which takes place in the ankles and toes. This impairment has been done with the help of the taking prevention of small attacks and pressings (Thanapati et al. 2017). It can be controlled with the help of the standard gout medicines which can decree the effects of the harm.
The impairment has been also done is meeting the limitation in the manual performance, incomplete use of the feet or the legs or the disfigurement. Pain has been the central feature of these impairments. It has been seen that added to the physical impairments are the psychosocial problems which have been associated with self esteem and self image. The abolition of lifting weights, applying stress in the legs are some of common impairments which have been followed by medicines.
4. Causes
The cause of the arthritis has been from the cartilage. Cartilage has been a firm flexible connective tissue in the joints. It always protects the joints from the absorption of the pressure which has been needed to put stress on them. If there has been a reduction in the normal amount of tissue of the cartilage then it may give rise to the arthritis. However, it has been tested that any infection or an injury leads to the breakdown of this cartilage tissue (Korb-Pap, Bertrand, Sherwood & Pap, 2016). Therefore, this cartilage malfunctioning gives rise to various kinds of arthritis in the human body.
The variation like osteoarthritis has occurred as a result of the injury. If there are some deformities such as the knock-knee or the overcoverages of the acetabular then it will give rise to the knee or the hip osteoarthritis. After the injury in the human body, minor pain occurs which paves the way for the disease to arise. The causes of the rheumatoid arthritis is due to the immune system attacking the healthy body tissues (Katz, 2017). The immune system can attack with bacteria or virus which paves the way for this disease to arise.
The lupus is another arthritis which has arisen due to the hair loss and the kidney problem. This lupus is actually a collagen vascular disorder. The gout has been caused by the deposition of the uric acid. It has been also formed by the formation of the rhomboid crystals of a calcium commonly termed as the pseudogout. Therefore, it affects the body in various ways and causes irritation. Therefore, it can be said that arthritis needs to be controlled by radiological changes.
5. Characteristics
The arthritis which has been affecting the people in a large way has various characteristics: 1) joint paints. 2) inflammation 3) Reduction in the flexibility of the legs and hands. The common characteristics of osteoarthritis is the pain, stiffness, tenderness, gration of the sensations, spurring in the bones and the red swelling. It takes place in a massive way but takes less in getting cured and recovered (Polachek, Li, Chandran & Gladman, 2017). The characteristics of rheumatoid arthritis is the loss in the body weights, fever, tiredness from simple work and major weakness in the body.
The causes of the septic arthritis is due to the fungus like the bacteria, fungi and the parasites attacking the body. When the joint becomes coagulated with blood from the infection of the bacteria then this...
