Introduction
Coronavirus constitutes from the family of viruses, which is known to cause illness that includes common cold to the severe respiratory syndrome, also known as MERS and SARS. The coronavirus strain has been originated from the bats and pangolins. The virus originated from the food market located in Wuhan, China (Wang et al., 2020). The disease spreads through droplets released by the infected person by coughing and sneezing.
Due to the ongoing health concerns, the industries have been seriously impacted. With the current pandemic condition, the industry faces challenges in terms of the forecast demands, in the disruption in the supply chain processes, in targeting the support services whose operation will become lead to risk the workers (Ayittey, Ayittey, Chiwero, Kamasah & Dzuvor, 2020).
Further, in the current pandemic condition, the strategies related to crisis-intervention were also impacted. In addition, a greater number of people have become jobless with the increased economic crisis that has resulted in the development of a need of digital excellence that will allow customer engagement as well as will be able to provide customer insights.
Justification and Significance of the Research
With further research and study on Coronavirus, various strategies in protecting people and curing people of the infection can be obtained. Currently, there is no specific treatment for the disease and hence, many of the conditions are treated through the clinical condition of the patient. With further research, treatments and recovery time of the patient can be known so that the economic condition does not get further impacted by the disease (Chinazzi et al., 2020).
As a greater number of people are infected by the Coronavirus, a greater number of people will be hospitalized and will not be able to work (Laing, 2020). This will affect the business due to the lack of an adequate workforce. Due to the lack of workforce, the companies will lose business leading to the loss of productivity and profitability. With research and more innovations, the epidemiological situation, as well as the trend of the disease, will be controlled so that the business can resume back their normal functioning.
Key Research Strategies to be adopted
The method that will be utilized for the research of Coronavirus is the primary method. Since the virus is very new and the symptoms and condition are still not known in the fullest extent, secondary method and resources cannot be utilized for the study. Hence, the research will be carrying out the primary method of research through qualitative and quantitative data (Clandinin, Cave & Berendonk, 2017).
The qualitative method will take into...
