Research Paper Template
In Unit VII of this course, you will be submitting a final research paper as your capstone assignment. In Units II through VI, you will be developing individual pieces of this paper and submitting them to your instructor. Each piece of this paper MUST be submitted in the template document that you are creating in this unit, along with the pieces submitted previously. Be sure that the feedback given to you by your instructor is incorporated into your previously submitted pieces before submitting the template document. You are creating a single living document that will be updated throughout the course.
Your instructor will then grade your submissions and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement. It is your responsibility to review the feedback and suggestions and put them into practice. By the time you reach Unit VII, you will be able to put each piece of your final research paper together, including the last piece that you will complete in Unit VII, and submit it as one cohesive assignment.
Your submission for this unit should be your structural template, which will indicate where each section of your final research paper will go. This template should follow APA paper formatting guidelines and include the APA-formatted title page, a page where your abstract will eventually go, and preliminary work on your introduction section, including your hypothesis and some key terms. Remember that only the title page, the introduction and definitions section, and the references page will have material in them at this point. You will not have any text in the other sections of your template yet, but you should place the headings for those sections in your template as placeholders that you will fill in later in the course. The document that you submit in this assignment will begin with a title page and end with a reference page.
Remember that you must follow APA Style when constructing this assignment, including supplying in-text citations and references for any sources used.
