Chapter 1: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Research
Most of the countries for the purpose of generation of more revenues and earnings for the country often follow the practice of promotion of Industries. In addition to the attempts of the government, the individual business sectors also develop certain strategies to initiate international business so that the revenues and the profits of the business organisation vehemently increase (Ussahawanitchakit, 2017). In this research the success attainment of Thailand, regarding the launch of international business will be researched (Role, 2016). In addition to this, the advantageous points that Thailand has accomplished with their policies of International Trade will also be discussed in this research.
1.2 Significance of the Research
Till date there are several researches are inducted in this particular same issue however in this research dimensions will be covered like the meritorious trade policies that are modeled by the Government of Thailand for making their trade policies more auspicious so that better dividends can be earned from it (Tontiset, 2018).
1.3. Research Objectives
The objectives of the research are:
· To identify the points that are responsible for the enormous success of the International Business of Thailand
· To identify the shortcomings that are still prevalent in the International Business of Thailand
· To identify the role of the individual business sectors of Thailand for national business success
· To recommend some proposals that will promote more success to the International business scenario of Thailand.
1.4. Research Questions
· What are the key factors for the growth and success of Thailand International Business?
· What are the prevalent shortcomings that are creating a hindrance in the way of achievement of more success?
· What are the role of individual business organisations of Thailand for the overall growth and high success rate?
· What recommendations can be made to augment the research and betterment of the International Business of Thailand?
Chapter 2: Literature Review
2.1. Introduction to International Business
International Business refers to the process of the trade of goods and services across national borders and the business activities are carried out at International level (Meyer & Peng, 2016). More to say it involves transactions of the goods and the services between two or more country (Hamilton & Webster, 2018). When two or more countries come into an agreement to start a trade then it is known as international business.
2.2. Types of Operations in International Business
Generally, there are two types of business operations in International Business, which are import and export. Import means when a country or any individual business form of a country intends to buy some products from other countries or from any business organisation of other countries then is known as import.
On the contrary when any country or an individual business organisation of a country intend to sell their products to other countries then this process of known as export of goods and services. Thus import and export are the two types of operations of international trade or business (Doh, Rodrigues, Saka-Helmhout & Makhija, 2017).
2.3. Skills required for success in International Business
It is true that for any country or for any business organisation international business is very effective and profitable as well, if it can be implemented properly. Thus, the entire success of the international business largely depends upon some skills. The skills that are required for success in international business are:
