Air conditioning delivery systems and SEER ratings
Air conditions are a long term yet necessary investment for any setting, whether
homes or buildings. In order to ensure a comfortable living or working conditions air conditions are installed to keep temperatures at reasonable levels within homes or buildings. Air conditioning delivery systems can broadly be classified into two types- Central and Decentralized air conditioning systems. In Central air conditioning systems a single unit of air conditioning system is installed throughout the house or building. In Decentralized air conditioning systems separate units of air conditions are installed in separate rooms.
When it comes to energy efficiency, Central air conditioning delivery systems are more energy efficient when compared to decentralized air conditioning systems. Central systems are so designed that they conserve energy on multiple levels. The system is so designed that it causes less loss of thermal energy during heating. It also regulates the internal temperature, reduces cost of maintenance and operation due to lesser energy consumption. Hence, even though the initial cost of HVAC Central AC systems is greater, the cost and energy consumption over the longer period of time is lesser in Centralized AC systems when compared to decentralized AC...
