Impact of Technology on Business Enterprises
The relation between innovative technologies and the growth in
realm of businesses is a proven fact and it is a truth that technology
has some positive impact on business enterprises both large and small.
It is a fact that “No matter how big or small…company is, technology
brings both intangible and tangible benefits to become cost efficient
and to meet the growing demands and needs of customers” (Hohn, 2011).
It is an undeniable fact that if technologies like computers would not
have been invented then the shape of today’s corporations would have
been different. So, to understand the relation between technological
innovations and business growth and to ascertain the impact of
technology on large and small business enterprises we must analyze the
importance of technology in the realm of these enterprises.
Today’s enterprises are thoroughly dependent on technology and
this dependency is observable in the entire work atmosphere and
structure of the corporations. Studies have revealed that
“Technological innovations affect corporate efficiency, culture and
relationship among employees, clients, suppliers and customers” (Hohn,
2011). Technology plays a decisive role in enhancing the efficiency of
large and small businesses. At present, if observed carefully, it can

communication or automation technologies to increase employee and
business efficiencies or they are inclined to install such

technology (ICT) are driving both globalization and the change of
value creation towards services” (Jetter, Satzger, & Neus, 2008).
Harnessing the power of information technology can contribute a
lot in the improvement of business processes and this in turn can help
the enterprises to accomplish the objective of profit maximization. If
