Regarding the division of power, one advantage of a unitary system is that there are clear lines of authority, but a central government is not always best equipped to deal with localized concerns In contrast, a federal system allows the government closest to the problem to deal with it However, sometimes there are coordination problems because local governments may lack resources to deal with problems So which do you feel allows for more stability within the government?
