Swastika is a geometrical figure that have lot of significance indifferent religious context of the world. for a major part of the history, the term Swastika was associated with positivity, auspiciousness and overall growth and development.  the word Swastika is derived from ancient Hindu language called Sanskrit. in Sanskrit, the word Swastik symbolised sun and was used as a positive Omen of luck and prosperity.
in general,  the Swastika is a geometrical figure,  Swastika can be considered all across whose are of equal length and perpendicular to the adjacent arms,  each bent Midway at a right angle. however in different religions there are distinct ways of styling it. for instance,  in some religion the direction could be clockwise or anticlockwise.
Though,  the word Sanskrit had positive connotation for a large part of history,  however with the emergence of Nazi party, in the first and second world war  made Swastik and extremely inauspicious, negative and fear inducing symbol. During the time of the war,  the symbol Swastika was used by Nazi Party as a chief symbolic instrument to create social division and drift between the Christian and Jews people.  The symbol was used by Nazi party to fuel German nationalism and patriotism.
