Has anyone with a chronic illness or disability ever shared their experiences of discrimination and oppression with you? What was the perceived cause of the discrimination or oppression? Were these experiences of discrimination or oppression related to access to healthcare? Were they workplace related? Did they come from the larger community itself? How did learning about a person’s experience of discrimination or oppression make you feel? What did you do about those feelings? Are there issues that you are inspired to advocate for in your community?
