Reading responses should show your grasp of course content throughout the semester. Respond to a reading (or readings) in the context of our lessons. Reading responses should be focused and analytical. They are not a review or summary of the reading you're writing about. Reading responses are not summaries of the texts.Instead of a full summary, you're reflecting and analyzing something you've noticed in the text you're writing about for your reading responses. The only way it can be wrong is if there's nothing in the text to support what you're saying. As a result, you'll need to use textual evidence to support your observations and claims. Do not forget to use parenthetical citations for quotes, paraphrases, and summaries of these texts.
Reading responses should be between 250 and 300 words. Correct grammar and dynamic writing are expected. Make sure you are fully communicating your thought(s) about the text(s) you've chosen.
Make sure your response is concentrated and detailed. Use the text(s) to support your response. Include parenthetical citations. Make the reading response over "Never Let Me Go".
