Introduction
    The white Americans have a discriminative and racist mentality towards the black community in the United States of America. The racism reflects in various fields in the American society, where the African-Americans are oppressed and deprived from the beginning. The racism reflects upon the field of education. The African-Americans are not provided with adequate skills and proper education in their educational institution in America. In this assignment, we will study about the reasons of the improper education provided to the black community in America.
The Seat of the Trouble
Inequality comes into play, even if the negro are well deserving and highly educated but they have to step back, the white peoples are forcing them to do that. Woodson explains how African Americans feel inferior and how they are treated with inequality within the given educational system. As opined by Woodson (2006), the Negros even discriminate their own community as they are taught to respect the whites. The African-Americans are even taught to be “good Negros” by acknowledging the whites as superiors. The improper education provided to the Negros in the schools is because of the deep-rooted racism within the white people towards the Negros, in America.
How We Missed the Mark
