1. Control system for following roles
a. Blackjack Dealers - We will describe the control system as “tight” for the pit managers.
Dealer only could receive the tips in a clear and concise manner by the means of the toke box. Dealers had to clearly show the palms before leaving the table. All the exchanges were done in the middle of the gaming table and this process was standardized across all the tables. Dealers were also required to wear the attire which made it difficult for them to sneak out the money or chips. They were also placed under the close surveillance camera.
b. Pit Bosses – We will describe the control system as “tight” for the pit managers. It was the pit manager’s duty to ensure that the smooth flow of the transfer of cash takes place from each of the Blackjack tables. Pit managers did not have the access to the computer system that will allow them to manipulate the inventory results or add or change anything. Whenever the table opened, the pit manager had to make the request for the chips transfer and he had a tight control all over him due to the sensitivity of the job.
c. Vice President – We will describe the control system as “loose” for the vice presidents since no enough control measures are there for vice presidents around how the business should be run and they have been...
