Introduction
Effective team management as leader is the key to achieve objectives in any process. As per the observation of Susan in the book, there are specific stages of leadership model, which should be applied to intervene positively in order to make teams work properly. In fact, the role of a leader is a complex job to follow, given that the leader has to look into various dimensions of work and the leader is the professional in the team who is responsible for the successful working of all team members with full potential (Wheelan, Åkerlund & Jacobsson, 2021). The following is the analysis of challenges faced during a community service project and the application of the book findings into the projects of the future in terms of social service.
The Challenges
At first, the detailing of the community service is provided here with regard to project how the position of a team leader plays crucial role in keeping the spirit of the teamwork together (Wheelan et al., 2021). This project I undertook in the form of community service where I was assigned as the project leader of assisting with the rehabilitation of a local community youth. The youth had many social and psychological issues such as problems with researching about housing and relocating to better living conditions than they were having at that time.
Secondly, they needed food supplies and access to proper healthcare because a majority of them was having some kind of health issue.
