(1)Present two specific instances where "truth" was at the center of the Larycia Hawkins/Wheaton College saga. What were the truths being fought over? How did Hawkins and Wheaton see these truths differently?
(2) Read Wheaton College'sStatement of Faith. In your opinion, did Dr. Hawkins' comments and actionsviolate the statement of faith in some way?
(3) Practically speaking, do you think that the situation could have been handled differently, leading to a different result? Why / why not? Consider the importance of "truth" on both sides of the argument -- could Wheaton or Dr. Hawkins bend on truth somewhere?
