Read the article by Schulz & Northridge (2004), Social Determinants of Health: Implications for Environmental Health Promotion (This article can be found in the course reading list for this week). Choose one social determinant (fundamental, intermediate or proximate) from figure 1 in the reading that you feel is very important in the context of environmental health issues. Provide a compelling argument of why this social determinate is important in the context of environmental health issues Justify your response using a case study of your choice (do not use any of the examples/case studies provided in Schulz & Northridge reading). The case study you chose should be of an important environmental health issue that currently exist in a particular country/region/city etc. (be specific!).
