Often overlooked is the ingenuity of slaves. Slaves were not afforded the care of "white" physicians. Discuss the loss of slave medical practices that was a mixture of African and Native American reliance on natural and herbal treatments. What do you think is the impact, if any, that the loss of this knowledge has had on medical practices today?

There are plants and herbs that can cause the cure of many diseases, sometimes even deadly diseases. They grow in specific regions. The herbs that grows in the African continent, the slaves knew how to use the pretty well and they shared the knowledge among themselves and when they were transported to the white people...
