Introduction
There are various types of life style diseases and among them one of the notable diseases is the Type 2 diabetes. There are many groups of people who are suffering from this disease. This paper is an attempt to create an awareness regarding the proper intervention and the information that need to be provided and also let the people know that one can absolutely lead a normal life despite having this disease.
Discussion
There are many information floating regarding diabetes however it is very important to understand what is this disease is all about. Drucker (2020) have discussed that diabetes is a chronic medical condition in which the sugar level or the glucose levels builds up in the blood into the human cell. The hormone named insulin is the one which moves the glucose from the blood into the cells and which is further used as energy. A data received from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare that around one million which is around 5.3 percent of people aged 18 and above are suffering from this disease (AIHW, 2020). This is a serious issue as the diabetes has now started affecting young people also which is a serious concern.
Type 2 diabetes can be said as the human body cells are not responding to the insulin as the manner they should respond. In the later stages of this diabetes the body may not produce enough insulin to carry the glucose resulting into increased glucose level in the blood stream. Zheng et al. (2018) have further discussed that there are various symptoms which can occur during the type 2 diabetes. As during this chronic medical condition the body is not being able to effectively use insulin to bring the glucose to the cells and hence the energy generation is not done...
