In this reflective journal I am going to explain about technical skills developed during professional exposure, mapping of core units knowledge to my professional exposure experience, evidence of the webinar report. 2. Technical Skills developed during professional exposure: Webinar is designed to develop technical skills during professional exposure, some of the webinars is on only technical skills, this will help us how to develop technical skills, how to utilize and implement to get better technical skills. 2.1 summary of overall professional exposure: I attended all the webinars which are conducted by our college by using zoom, I have attended mindfulness webinar hosted by “anne kuci”, mind, brain and body webinar hosted by aarish khawar, in the both of the webinar they explained about our mind so here how we are thinking which part in our mind will generate ideas all this will represent our personal exposure and it is inter related to our behavior from outside. and also I watched network design and best practices in you tube presented by am eric Susie who is the product category manager for networking products, in this eric explained what is best approach , best practices that we need take into consideration from an architectural stand point all the way some tips and tricks all these are cover in this webinar this helped me a lot to developed a professional exposure in a great way. 2.2 Mapping of core units knowledge to your professional exposure experience: Mapping of core units knowledge which I learnt from attending the webinar, I have shown in the below table[3]. Professional exposure Mapping with core units Knowledge learnt How can you design a network Overview of network design How many layers in a network and its function[4]. requirements What are the requirements to build a required network This helps me better understanding of the what are the requirements of the network work[5]. Features Main features of network design This unit help me the features of designing a network. importance How it is important to design a network. By attending webinars the professional skills which I developed are communication it is basic thing need to express your opinion, all webinars which I attended till now by online only due to this pandemic covid19. (i) analytical and technical skills in this skill I learnt how to analysis on any kind of topic or any kind of situation, by clearly getting understanding on given topic by studying different similar topics and by this I will collect the similar data[1]. (ii) Capacity to plan, Organize and prioritize work Basic as it might sound, a person that can show that he/she has had the option to design and sort out their work is truly important. Give uncommon consideration to the manner in which you plan your errands, and guarantee you stay aware of the considerable number of cutoff times you are given[1]. A worker that can adhere to allotted courses of events and can give snippets of data simplicity and speed shows that he/she stays in control and can generally be relied upon to convey the necessary assignment or data. Thus, realizing which undertakings to organize and which ones to leave for later is a significant expertise[2]. 3.1 Based on your industry experience what would you like to change in the way and manner you approach your study: Previously I used to study theoretically, but adding to this doing things with practical is also important, everybody can remember more doing practically, and you have to understand the topic clearly about the given topic then you have to start do working on it, and reading more reference papers is advantage to us, practice more before start of any work, based on industry experience we have to maintain Dailey work sheet, prepare weekly plan to complete the work in time, setting target for the day, so all there I learnt by attending the webinar. 3.2 recommendations to become a successful network professional: You are guided by correct teaching staff; you need to study proper material which is also having proper data like basic of the subject in a clear and understandable language, practicing on real-time networking problems, learning new technologies which are related to networking, every time you need to update yourself, be active. 3.3 feature plans as a network professional: Future plans as a network professional I need do CCNA certificate it will boost my carrier to get a good job, doing research on the already existing network security breaches, discovering new ways to find the network error and solution the security breach, and making the designed network more secure. Introduction
This reflective report aims at showcasing the details of my professional exposure which helped me to explore technical skills, mapping the knowledge of core units of the course with the practical experience which I gained professionally and the professional skill improvements that were experienced during attending the webinars. The report further highlights the changes recommended in the approach of acquiring knowledge on a topic along with recommendations and future plans to become a successful IT Ops professional. The report concludes with proofs of webinar report in appendices. The report is taken as an opportunity to explore and summarize the key learnings, recognizing strengths in the profession and mapping them with practices.
Technical Skills
Industry and higher studies depend upon fast evolution of technology (Airaj, 2016). The rapid development in technology has led to a convenient and instant way of knowledge acquisition through webinars. It is an effective distance learning tool independent of geographical location. It offers direct exposure to industry experts and interact with them through a digital room. It is a cost-effective tool since knowledge could be acquired without spending lot of money.
