Throughout the four weeks we will be working with Regina and Giuseppe Guinta, in your allocated groups, you will undertake the following activities:
Identify the key health issues and challenges for older adults living at home, based upon concepts of health promotion and quality of life for older adults.
Discuss the priorities when conducting a comprehensive health assessment of an older couple and their living environment,
 Develop a comprehensive nursing care plan to best support an older couple living at home,
Identify nursing strategies when an unexpected health situation occurs for a client(s) in their home.
Discuss ways to manage the consequences of deterioration in an older person’s,health when they are living at home.
