Question 1: The Issue Exploration assignment helps students to select a research topic and begin moving toward a more specific research question. In this discussion, work with your classmates on identifying a research question that is neither too broad nor too narrow. After reviewing “Your Research Question,” consider potential research questions. Post your topic and research question idea(s) here.Comment by Blueline: Expert please note that you can answer question 1 in the same format as in red in question 2. I’m majoring in accounting so you should be using example for accouting. Some reminders: 1. You can list multiple possibilities here, but your research should ultimately be focused on one guiding question. Aim for each idea you list to be a possibility for guiding your entire paper focus. 2. Your research question should be one for which you can formulate a position through your research. It should not be a question with a single answer that you will locate through your research. For example, "What are the different types of phishing?" is not a good research question because it is one that has a defined answer that you can locate. "What types of phishing will become more common in the next five years and how should businesses be prepared?" is a good research question because you can formulate a position, based on your research, in response to the question. Question 2: Respond to the research question posted Below in red. Do you think there is a possibility the question(s) may be too broad or too narrow? Why or why not? Which question(s) would work well to guide the direction of an entire research paper? Which question(s) allow the writer to formulate an opinion based on research?  Hi everyone, I am working to obtain my bachelors degree in Health Services Management. Management in healthcare work to identify solutions, make improvements, implement policies and procedures, and maintain compliance in evolving technology in the healthcare system. With our current global pandemic of COVID-19, physicians have been able to continue continuity of care for patients remotely by virtual appointments. Telemedicine has connected providers and patients to maintain communication for health concerns, health care maintenance, and ongoing patient needs by distance medicine. I have a few questions surrounding my main focus topic. How does access to Telemedicine affect different age groups? What are the benefits of Telemedicine for providers and patients? What are some of the setbacks with virtual technology to administer patient care? What are the advantages for the providers to conduct patient appointments remotely? What are the economical and social challenges with accessing Telemedicine?   My main focus question is: With regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, will the continued use of Telemedicine sustain healthcare accessibility for providers and patients in the future?    Question 3: In every paragraph we write, we make choices about sentence boundaries: Where will we place a period and start a new sentence? Where might we consider using semicolons to connect related independent clauses? Where will we join ideas together in a compound sentence? In this week's grammar discussion, along with your peers, you will think about these questions in relation to your own writing. Post a paragraph of writing you have done recently. This could be a draft of a paragraph from your Issue Exploration assignment, writing you did for another discussion post, or something else. Identify at least one sentence boundary choice you made, and comment on the reasons for that choice and possible alternatives. Example of an initial post:Comment by Blueline: Expert please see an example of a post of how you should write When I was seventeen years old and a senior in high school, I had an experience that deeply affected my learning for many years to come: I failed a paper for the first time. Okay, I didn't exactly fail, but I got a D, which felt like failing. The grade was unexpected, it affected me like a slap in the face. It was only through the encouragement of the very teacher who gave me the D that I was able to persevere with a more determined attitude than ever. This article is about proposed changes to school start times. Currently, high school students start earliest; under the proposed changes, elementary school students would start earliest and high school students would start latest. The reason the school board has for proposing this change is that a later school schedule is more consistent with teens'  natural sleep patterns, however starting later means that they would be in school later, which could be problematic for sports and after-school jobs. I made a choice to use a semicolon after "Currently, high school students start earliest." I did that because the next sentence provides a direct contrast by stating what would happen under the proposed changes. The semicolon shows that the two independent clauses are closely related. I could have used a period instead, which would look like this: "Currently, high school students start earliest. Under the proposed changes, elementary school students would start earliest and high school students would start latest." I think this alternative is okay, but I prefer keeping the two related ideas more closely connected.  Question 4: In response to another student's paragraph identify at least one sentence boundary choice, and comment on the effects of that choice and possible alternatives. You might comment on a choice the writer made that you think was effective or one that you think could be improved. Please respond to the paragraphs below in red for question 4: In school were told that our ability to read and write will affect our chances at going to college and succeeding in life. We are vaguely explained of why it is important or how it could change our chances of success. In the article It’s Not Grammar; It’s Clear Thinking, the author Douglas Rushkoff (2013) states “Text extends our speech into the future.” I believe that this is pointing that how we can use our words to not only leave an impression but propel our way into the future. Furthermore, the last century has shown how employers use grammar examinations to cull the pre employment pools. Effectively excluding those who cannot properly express themselves when using written communication. However, with the introduction of social media platforms that limit users to character length; many of these current generations have cast aside good grammar to make statements fit the limits. This practice has made practitioners of English writing grow lax in their use of the rules of writing. With this downplay in written etiquette employers assume the candidate is unfit for the position being offered. While in other languages such as those used in computer programing i.e. C+; the use of creating subprograms and use of key word driven commands can simplify the programming process. I liken this to the shortening of sentences and statements on twitter by the abundant use of acronyms. Just like programming though if there is not a ruleset that governs the use of these acronyms, or they are not widely accepted, you end up with confusion and the idea the user is unintelligent.   This paragraph was included in my WRTG 111 Case Study. I chose an article supplied by the instructor and produced a detailed study on the topic discussed. The topic which was is grammar testing for pre-employment an outdated process hit home for me; in the field of law enforcement which is my profession we employ this practice to make sure officers are detail oriented.   One of the punctuation choices I made include “While in other languages such as those used in computer programing i.e. C+, the use of creating subprograms and use of key word driven commands can simplify the programming process. I liken this to the shortening of sentences and statements on twitter by the abundant use of acronyms.” In this section I used the coma to separate two sentences that were related but required a natural pause but not such a pause as to stop the reader. These two sentence fragments could have been written “While shortcuts exist in other languages such as C+, a computer programming language. They are also used in grammar most notably on websites such as twitter where acronyms and emoji facilitate communication with fewer typed characters.” Question 5: Instructions Task:  Identify a news article that discusses a current event or social issue that relates to your field of study.
