Quarterly Reflection

For this last assignment, I want you to use this opportunity to reflect on your Business 121 experience. Your task is to write a 1-2 page reflection (12 pt type, single spaced, 1" margins) addressing the questions below.

The reason is thatresearch shows that when you are mindful, intentional, and you write your ideas down you have a more impactful learning experience. Also, I want you to take a moment reflect on how much content we covered, on your effort, and what you need to do in the future to continue your personal, professional, and academic development. My end goal for every student encounter is the same: I want you to thrive and succeed in life.That's why reflection is a part of almost every class I teach.

Here are the questions to answer:

• How does the material we learned in this class relate to your everyday life or career goals?


• What were your 2-3 biggest takeways (learning) from this quarter (this can be about business content or things you learned about yourself as a result of being in the class) ?


• Going forward in life, how can you utilize what you've learned in this class to be a better student, professional in the workplace, and consumer? If you are interested in marketing, how can it also help you become a better marketer?


• In terms of learning, what strategies and/or behaviors do you need to work on to attain better mastery or results in the future either in school or in the world of work?


• What are 2-3 things you can commit to and do going forward to continue to build your personal brand so that you can have the career or business you desire? All of us have a brand, it's just a matter of whether we're managing it properly.

This activity is worth up to 15 extra credit points and full points will be given only for best effort.
