Extracted text: QI I We would like to model the structure of a scientific journal management system. For an author to send her journal paper to be considered for publication in this journal, she should first register in the system by specifying her name, affiliation, academic degree, and email address. Each paper in the system is identified by a title, submission date, a list of keywords, paper type (regular research paper, review paper (paper about literature review), or letter), in addition to the PDF file of the paper itself. Each paper can be written by many authors, all of them should be registered in the system, but each paper has only one corresponding author. The corresponding author is the one that submit the paper and receives notification or any question from the journal about her paper. Each paper is assigned to one associated editor (the journal has many associated editors). Each paper is reviewed by minimum two, maximum 4 reviewers. Each associated editor can handle many papers and is identified by his name, affiliation, academic degree and expertise. Each reviewer is also identified by the same information, plus information about the number of already reviewed papers and the average time of reviewing (how long it takes for this reviewer to review the papers in average).
