Purpose:
The purpose of this final assignment is for students to share "what if" activities appropriate for young children. This assignment will also provide the class with resources of fun and creativity activities to be shared and implemented in an early childhood environment or in the home. The video should be brief - no longer than 10 minutes and use materials to demonstrate how to do the activity.
Task:
No children are needed for this activity.
Students will search for a creative activity (not included in the book) appropriate for young children that stimulates intellectual thought processes (vs. an activity that is close ended - just do it this way). Students will videotape step-by-step instructions on how to implement the activity and upload here for grading. Use the same steps for creating your video as you did for your self-introduction (at the beginning of this course).
Using your web browser and webcam(Links to an external site.)
After you submit for this assignment - then please share at another site: the Discussion Board.
Please share your video at the Discussion topic:Week 14 - Creative Learning Activity
I would like for you to publish your video for this assignment - again - to the Discussion topic forWeek 14 - Creative Learning Activity.
Criteria:
This assignment will not be graded on quality of the video but more importantly on the appropriateness of the activity for young children based on the information you have learned in this class. Does the activity expand children's thinking or creativity?
Include the following:
Title of the activity and age appropriateness
Objective (what you want children to think about or learn)
Materials needed
How to introduce the activity to the children
Questions you might ask to expand children's thinking
Evaluation - how will you know it was successful?
P.S I JUST NEED LIKE THE SCRIPT FOR ME TO MAKE THE VIDEO MYSELF
