You should complete the reading and practice activities before attempting this assessment. The Project Management Institute’s philosophy dimensions are filled in for you to provide an example. Then, based on your understanding of the individual philosophical dimensions, identify how you would approach quality for a project based on the project management focus of “conformance to requirements.” For this assignment, use your imagination and choose one of the following project types: 1. a home- improvement project, 2. a gardening project, 3. a website creation project, 4. a corporate office move of several departments of workers from one building to another located in the same city, 5. a family vacation, 6. a wedding, or 7. another project to be approved by the professor. Choose a project you are familiar with, as this knowledge will help you in the planning process. Your paper should start with which philosopher’s approach best aligns with your project’s requirements. Outline in your paper how “conformance to requirements” looks and which philosopher’s approach would help achieve the highest quality results for your project. Conformance to requirements is key in managing and controlling the execution of the project as knowing how you will manage to requirements ensures the project expectations are met. You will be evaluated on your understanding of the individual philosophies and their relative application to your project.
