One issue of concern with these disorders is comorbidity: the situation that occurs when multiple diagnostic conditions occur simultaneously within the same individual. The benefits of diagnosing someone are that it helps to understand as well as determine whether the person is affected with only one disease or more than one. It also helps to figure out what are the areas that need to be given concentration and are the most important. It also helps to deliver treatment guidelines by identification of the symptoms and by lessening the suffering and pain. This would definitely help people like Bob to feel that they are at ease and that they are being understood by someone.
