As suggested by Mack,
Erol, Clarke and Bert (2016), iconic memory can be defined as the part of the visual memory system, which includes short-term memory as well as long-term memory. Iconic memory is a sensory memory that remains for few seconds and then faded away. The iconic memory focusses on the picture or images.
b.
The iconic memory has the capacity to retain the information around 500 milliseconds without rehearsal. Short-term memory stores information for around 15–20 seconds while working memory actively processes, manipulates and controls the information if the person concentrates on the material. The capacity of this memory is less than one second.
c.
This game access the iconic memory of the individual. In this game, a person needs to focus on the icons, which have three concurrent boxes, orange, blue and green. Each time when icon disappears from the screen, individual needs to click on the icon. The duration of the short-term memory is twenty seconds. This suggested that the short-term memory contents could decay spontaneously over the period. The human short-term memory has a memory span is between 5 and 9 items. The mode of storage of this memory is verbal.
c.
This game is testing the short-term memory. In each trial, some letters are shown for few seconds, which a player needs to remember and then recall it. With each trial, the number of letters increased and the remembering power decreased. This is because the capacity to remember is around 7 letters, whereas the maximum number shown in last letters are twelve. Thus, it become difficult to remember all the letters from the last trial.

As stated by Norris (2017), long-term memory can be defined as the memory, which remains in the mind of the individual for indefinite period. This is the final stage of the human information processing of the individual. The short-term memory when repeated can converted into long-term memory.
