PSA104 Practise safely within the Australian health care system PSA104_Assessment_1_Brief_Case_Studies_Module 3.1_Week_5 Introduction Nursing within the Australian health care system is complex. There are many regulations, guidelines and expectations to be met, and the patients that nurses care for often come from varying socio-economic and cultural backgrounds that impact their wellness. Therefore, there is a need for nurses to remain current in their practice and provide care that meets differing social, ethical and legal parameters. This assessment provides an opportunity to demonstrate your understanding and application of different nursing theories, wellness principles and ethical and legal principles in relation to four different case studies. Summary This assessment contains three (3) individual case studies. The information for each case will be presented in differing ways. You are required to view and/or read all three (3) case studies presented within this assessment. Each case study will provide a series of questions and you are expected to answer each question as it relates to the specified case study.
