Critical scholarship is that branch of study in which the learners learn to critically assess any literary source. It develops certain skills and proficiencies in the learners so that they can break down the complex topics in relation to education. As opined by Anderson, Guerreiro & Smith, (2016), with the help of this subject, the critical scholars are able to point out the social and educational differences and are able to provide with effective alternative resolutions. As per the views of Ecclestone, (2017), the critical scholars first assesses the provide ideas in education, then they are critiques, work shopped and revised again.
    I always had the urge to pursue Critical scholarship as I love to analyse ideas and theories strategically. The things that I have learnt throughout the course is that:
Inculcating Academic Voice
Firstly, the course helps to construct an academic voice. It would be helpful for the academic leaders in order to write academic papers. Academic tone is the incorporation of academic language that is different from the normal speaking language that includes slang as well as intimate language. Fillers are not used in academic writing as well. Academic voice is a conventional method for composing and talking that is clear, direct, and proficient without sounding extravagant or utilizing superfluously confounded jargon words. I learnt that in academic writing, the use of first person singular is avoided and is only used while writing in a reflective mode.
