Almost every essential activity can be performed by smartphone in recent times with the help of internet connection. The project will be developed based on Wi-Fi technology. in which USB-based a Wi-Fi receiver will be installed in room lights. Minimum frequency of that Wi-Fi receiver will be 2.4Ghz and it will be developed on 802.11b/g/n architecture. To get maximum advantage of the project users will have to switch on the hotspot on 24x7. Next aspect of the project is developing a Mobile App through which user will able to control lights when he/she is away. One light can be operated with multiple mobile device (via App). Whenever any user will switch on or off any light it will notify other connected devices. In scope: · Users will able to schedule lights on or off via App. · Feature like switch on or switch off can be synchronized with mobile based virtual assistants like Siri, Google Voice, Cortana, Alexa and so on. · This project will allow people to save a lot of electricity · If by mistaken any person leave lights on then it can be detected through the App · The project will take roughly 6-9 months to complete Out scope: · Apart from developing Wi-Fi receiver (for lights) and App nothing will covered through this project · The project does not ensure any control over other electric devices like Washing machine, Fan, air conditioner and others.
