1. Introduction
The purpose of this proposal is to initially shed light on a crime problem and then to develop and propose a program to mitigate that problem. Before going any further with this topic it would be important to understand the topic that is “Increasing crime rate in Australia.” The image below highlights the crime rates in Australia.

The image above clearly shows that imprisonment rates are increasing in Australia. As a result, the Government of Australia is initiated several policies such as CPTED that is Crime Prevention through Environmental Design, however, what about the indigenous people who are accountable for 30% of the population in different prisons of Australia.
2. Review of Literature
According to Foster et al., (2016) crime rates in Australia are increasing at a rapid rate and the government of Australia is not doing enough to reduce it. On the other hand Folds (2017), stated that the Australian Government should focus on crimes committed by indigenous people including men-on-men violence, homicides and domestic violence. Cozens, (2016) on the other hand has concluded that a huge portion of the current population in the prisons of Australia are the indigenous people which is a major concern as indigenous people are constantly living...
