    Explain the action that might be taken to resolve different forms of conflict and the assistance or resources that could be required. Explain how these actions would help to resolve conflicts and the types of outcomes that might be expected.

Introduction
As the workplaces continue to come up with diverse workforces and continue to expand their business operations across international borders, conflicts are bound to occur. Conflicts in workplaces can occur due to actual or perceived opposition in the needs, values, interests and beliefs of people with different ideologies working together. Therefore, in order to ensure that an ethical workplace environment prevails in workplaces so that the performance of the employees can be maintained, managers and supervisors often need to come up with conflict management. Through this paper, an effort has been made to discuss about the type of workplace conflicts, which may occur in hospitality, travel and tourism industry. The paper will also shed light on the sign, symptoms and destructive outcomes of unresolved conflicts. Through these paper effective conflict resolution methods, measures and techniques will be discussed along with their positive outcomes. Implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the conflict resolution measures will also be discussed here.
Conflicts in Workplaces
Conflicts in workplace can be simply described as the disagreement or opposition of ideas, interests, views and opinions among two or more people, who work together in a workplace (Ojo et al., 2016). Though in most of the workplaces conflicts may be defined as disagreements between the employees working within the organisation, in case of hospitality, travel and tourism industry conflicts may not only arise with co-workers but with the suppliers and customers as well.
Types of Conflicts
There is no doubt about the fact that workplaces all across the globe face one or the other type of conflict every now and then and the hospitality, travel and tourism industry is no different. Undoubtedly, misunderstandings, poor communication channels, aggressive behaviour and close-mindedness are the primary reasons behind workplace conflicts of the following types:
Task-Based Conflicts
Task-based conflicts also known as interdependence conflicts can be described as the situations of disagreements, which arise among the individuals of a team, when they do not coordinate with each other to complete a task and rather everyone is just concerned about their task and therefore, affecting other members of the team. As stated by Mauersberger, Hess and Hoppe (2019), this type of conflict occurs, when a person within the organisation relies on cooperation, input or output from others to get his or her job done. For instance, the accounts manager of a travel company cannot come up with a budget until other members of the team give him/her a travel plan and this may give rise to a conflict.
Leadership Conflicts
Different styles of leaderships can be seen existing in the hospitality, travel and tourism industry and people react differently to these leadership styles. For instance, some leaders may be task oriented and may push the employees to complete their tasks while other leaders may be people oriented and like to involve the employees in decision-making processes.
