Your plan should take into account safety precautions for covid 19. Consider social distancing, mask wearing, hand hygiene, re-opening stage, e.g. are restaurants and bars open? , number of attendees allowed by municipal bylaws or public health guidelines.

1.Briefly describe the volunteer profile at your agency. What do volunteers do? How many are there? Are they mostly long term or short term? What are their main motivations? If you are not currently in placement with an agency, go to a n agency website which has information on their volunteers. (1 mark)
2.Using specific references to chapter 12 explain how understanding the volunteer profile helps you determine the type of recognition event to develop. How might the Volunteer Canada standard on recognition help you? (2 marks)
3.How do you think covid 19 might affect a formal recognition event? (2 marks)
