Summary of Chosen Business Ethical Case Jindal South West (JSW) was a conglomerate company with diversified business operations such as Steel, Mining, Energy, Infrastructure and Software. In the year 2016, it expanded its wings towards Paint market by 50,000-crore of investment. Asian paints and Berger paints were the main competitors for Jindal South West (JSW) paints. Competition existed because Asian paints were having 60,000 dealers and 135 depots across the country. Likewise, Berger paints was having 25,000 dealers, and 129 depots across the county. In painting market to reach the urban and rural markets in India, dealers played a key role. After 3years (during 2019) of strong brand positioning, Jindal South West (JSW) paints approached several dealers in Karnataka, Telangana and Tamil Nadu. JSW launched theirDecorative paints, which had1808 shades, and offeredseveral benefits like pricing, delivering, quality, better margins, and incentives of paints. After the launch of JSW paints, Asian paint pressurized the dealers not to show case decorative paints displaysignboards, and delay product delivery. In response to the barriers and ethical concerns raised by Asian paints, Jindal South West (JSW) paints filed a suit against Asian paints to Competition Commission of India (CCI).The commission based on prima-facie appointed Director General of Competition Commission of India (CCI) on 14 January 2020, for Independent Investigation, and the report will be submitted within 60 days from the date of the order. Introduction
    This project deals with the problem analysis of the company named as Asian Paints. Asian Paints is one of the leading companies of the colours. This project is the final draft based on the problems that the company has been facing. The company has been facing serious problems with the problems of transparency and ethical decisions. This project has been basically drawn on the case study of the Asian Paints. The drawbacks of the company have been highlighted in this final draft of the problem analysing. It has been in some cases where the companies have faced serious problems due to the ethical considerations and transparency in the business. These project deals with such problems involved with Asian Paints.

    Transparency refers to the honesty and the clarity among the employees. Transparency helps the employees and the employer to gain trust and confidence for the company (Tsalikis). Asian paints have faced certain problems which are related to transparency issues. Lack of transparency issues are leading to the reduction of the goodwill of the company. Transparency is a virtue in any company but excessive transparency can lead to leakage of confidential data outside the premises of the company (Gold & Heikkurinen, 2018). Transparency can be enjoyed when it is within the employers and the employees of the company (Michener, 2019). The company must be able to handle the transparency in a proper way.
    Through the elaborate study of the case study, it could be understood that the major information of the Asian Paints have been brought out in light. The confidential planning of the strategies of the company has been known to the rivals of the company. The excessive transparency has acted as a hindrance to their goodwill and reputation. The JSW Paints have got the opportunity to file the case against Asian Paints because of the transparency. The strategies and the confidential ideas of the company have been known to the rival groups....
