Introduction
Data Mining: It is the process which consists of analysing and evaluating wide existing databases to build new databases.
In other words, data mining is identifying new information from already existing information.
Data mining is used to solve crime problems faster.
There are different data mining software which contain analytical tools for analysing data.
Data Mining is the procedure which includes evaluating and examining large pre-existing databases in order to generate new information which may be essential to the organization. The extraction of new information is predicted using the existing datasets.

Crime Analysis
Crime Analysis is the evaluation of daily reports and crimes to confirm location of crime, day/time and other attributes related to crime which will analyse the existing patterns of criminal behaviour.
The procedure for crime analysis as shown below in diagram:
a)The criminals can hold certain properties and their crimes characteristics and crime careers may vary from one criminal to another. Such type of information can be taken as input dataset.
b) The input dataset is given to a pre-processor which performs the pre-processing based on the requirements.
c) Once the pre processing is completed the features or attributes from those information are extracted which may be in the form of text content from emails, the crime...
