Abstract
Food security refers to that state where all people have access to food, which have required nutrition for their body and meet dietary needs. It is an essential preference for an active and healthy life. Despite several programs running worldwide with government interventions and independent organizations like UN, WHO and others the problem is still persistent. Millions of people worldwide are suffering from hunger.
The population in low-income countries is facing food security issues. This problem is hindrance in social, economic and environmental growth as it is a disruption in life supporting cycle. The trade-offs and right balance between production and distribution is required to deal with the problem. During this research journey, various options and opportunities will be explored to ensure food security.
The strategies will be developed to reduce the wastage of food, wastage of resources so that it is available for all in appropriate proportion. It will help to study and develop actions, which can contribute in developing alternative uses of unused surplus such as generation of energy, recycling or reprocessing. The impact of food security at economic level needs to be understood and the way, the countries are dealing with them at individual level. The overall contribution with their efforts if applicable at global level, in that case what success rate can be achieved.
Introduction
It is said that a healthy body is a place where God resides. Nutritionists stress on taking balanced and healthy diet, which not only keeps body active but also keep it away from diseases. Despite these facts all over the world millions of people are deprived of safe and clean meal. Developing and underdeveloped countries are its worst victims. The leading organizations such as UN, WHO and UNICEF have made recommendations to deal with the issue (Prosekov & Ivanova, 2018).
