Family:
The basic unit in a society comprising of two parents rearing their own children is called as a family. In other words, a family can also be defined as a group of people who are related either by consanguinity or likeness. Family takes care of the well-being and security of its members in the society.
There are different types of families across the world ranging from nuclear family which comprises of the two parents and their children. Single parent family, which consists of one parent with the children. Extended family comprises of two or more adults with their children and staying together in the society. Childless family comprises of only the couples without any kids. Stepfamily comprises of kids from different marriages staying together. here two families merge into one. Grandparent family comprises of the grandparents taking care of their grandchildren instead of their own parents.
