    The baby boomer generation, born between 1946 and 1964, represents a significant portion o of the U.S. population. As this generation ages, the utilization of health services is likely to increase significantly. According to the CDC, in 2016, there were over 46 million adults aged 65 or older in the United States, and this number is projected to more than double by 2060 (CDC, 2022). In this essay, we will discuss how this aging of such a large segment of the population will affect specific health care delivery services and organizations. The aging of the baby boomer generation is a major demographic shift that is expected to have significant impacts on health care delivery services and organizations. As this generation enters their retirement years and experiences the natural decline in physical and mental health, the demand for health care services will increase, and health care organizations will face new challenges in meeting the needs of this growing population.
