a) Expected number is 4, what is there is write, it simply 10*o.4 = 4
Where 0.4 is probability of
1 person getting a ticket(success prob). 10 is total
number of people who can drive daily
b) Prob of one person getting a ticket is 0.4, and not getting a ticket is 0.6(failure
prob)
Now event is exactly 4 people getting ticket, so select 4 people from 10,
