Majority of police training consists of non-threatening responsibilities. These are mostly related to countering the traffic accidents as well as preparing them for the handing the worst cases. There are rare cases where the forces are trained on tactical and skills for administering critical issues. These skills are using the firearms and defensive manoeuvres in the training center. They are also taught to use tasers and use equipment like body worn cameras, using equipment inside the patrol cars like computers. Thus, the job of police is extremely stressful, complex and challenging. Thus, police spend very small amount of time responding to the violent crimes. But there is stress-based training which are provided to the officers in the police academies throughout US concerning emotional and physical demands (Reaves B.A; 2016).
