The sufficiency ofevidence paragraph evaluates the evidence or support staff writers providein the Toronto slang articleto support the claim that all stripes of people in Toronto have adopted slang in a way that suggests that slang is no longer judged; you can also include a reference to the classroom.
Remember that in this assignment you are returning to the article itself and checking the evidence or support for the claim within the article.1- The paragraph should begin with theclaim evaluatedand theverdicton whether the evidence for this claim issufficient,insufficientorfair.
2-The body of the sufficiency of evidence paragraph should include

(a) all or most of the evidence staff writers use to support the claim.

This evidence should be paraphrased as much as possible (with embedded quotation for important phrases or where paraphrasing is not possible).

Paragraph numbers should be indicated.
(b) criteria used to evaluate the evidence.

The criteria should include one or more of the following: whether the evidence is enough; whether the sources are reliable; whether there are different points of view/counter aruments; and whether there are different types of evidence. Try to use any criterion or combination of criteria you believe are relevant to the evidence that you evaluate.

Any other criteria can be used, such as whether the evidence is consistent, reasonable or believable etc.

    Professor Denis provided sufficient evidence in the cont
ext of his claims. He supports his claim by stating that he gets a cringe response every time he asks his Toronto-area students about the slang words they are using presently (paragraph. 1). It has been said that Professor Denis at the University of Mississauga is not just trying to keep with the times. For the anecdotal evidence, Professor Denis has been studying the vocabulary of Toronto for the last two years and the method in which cultural diversity of the city puts its lexicon away from each other (Global News, 2019).
