Communication is not just barking or conveying directives, it is also questioning. Communication is a two-way street, and if one go one way, one will be stuck in an impasse (Schwalbe, 2015).
Of course, various projects require different communications methods. Large projects need more communication plan structure, but smaller projects don't mean that one can just wing the communication plan. Without background, but they must be made, communication plans must be developed. When the interaction system in a project is formalized, steps are taken to make the project successful.
