Mindfulness is the art of nurturing one’s own awareness of one’s own self that

ves amidst different natural objects. Going through Jon Kabat-Zinn’s passage,
“Mindfulness for the Beginners: reclaiming the present moment – and your life,” I have
learned how to enhance the skill of observation and how to relate the same in developing
myself into a more aware and empathetic human being. Mindfulness, on one hand, is a
meditative form that helps an individual in developing a deep philosophical insight into the
meaning of life. But, on the other hand, mindfulness is a spontaneous state of being
practically aware of those aspects that a human being needs to emphasize in order to emerge
as a compassionate social being.
