ASSESSMENT TASK 2: REFLECTIVE PERSONAL COMMENTARY In this task you will reflect on GST principles with reference to, or consideration of, your course of study to explain the interrelatedness of self and community. The course that im doing is Bachelor of Nursing Why did | choose this course of study at this university? How does it both emphasise, and bring to life, the interrelatedness of self with community in distinctive ways? University that i go to is Australian Catholic University. Answer these two questions in one 8-minute recording (roughly 125 words per minute = equivalent 101,000 words) of gither: (a) a TED talk; or, (b) a podcast feature, that profiles the moral and social value you see in your course of study. This relates to a Ted Talk given by a sister Norma Pimentel about the conditions of the children who are in the detention centre on the US Mexico border. The context has been addressed in terms of the humanitarian respite centre in Texas where people can get clean clothing and warm shower and a hot milk. In this powerful talk sister Pimentel discuss her lifelong work a restaurant human dignity at the border.
