Introduction
    A psychological condition may result due to the change in the behavioral and mental pattern, which results in impairment of the normal functioning of the individuals and causes significant distress. The conditions in most of the cases can be persistent, remitting or relapsing. The psychological disorder, which will be discussed in this study, is bipolar disorder. Bipolar disorder is a type of manic-depressive psychological condition, which results in the unusual shift in the energy levels, mood, activity levels and concentration. It also affects the ability of the individual to perform day to day’s activity.
Objective 1: Defining Bipolar Disorder
The change in the energy levels mood or activity levels in an individual is some of the hypomanic episodes that are reflected by the bipolar patients. However, these conditions are expected to be less severe episodes that are faced by the bipolar patient. According to researches, bipolar disorder can be categorized into three stages. According to Yatham et al. (2018), the bipolar condition I where the patient shows manic episodes, which last for seven days. These episodes of maniac depressions are so intense that at times they need hospital care immediately. Sometimes this condition persists for 2 weeks showing mixed features.
As opined by Valli, Fabbri and Young (2019), the second group of Bipolar II condition has a defined pattern of the hypomanic and depressive pattern. Most of the cases they are not full-blown episodes as observed in case of the bipolar I condition. The third type of bipolar condition is the Cyclothymic disorder, which reflects hypomanic symptoms with periods of symptoms of depression that lasts for 2 years. The symptoms, which are...
