Volkswagen case study
Answer 1– Volkswagen was found to be involved into violation of Corporate Social
Responsibility in manufacturing of its cars by using software inside the car which falsifies
polluted car emissions sca
le. It was an unethical behaviour on the part of the company to pass
the test of the EPA minimum standards of pollution by a vehicle. As a result, there was fall
down in the value of the company‟s share as it highly impacted the society due to loss of trust

targets because it was done at the cost of environmental protection. Ultimately, it will
definitely hamper the long term earnings and shareholder‟s earnings. So, higher management
