Advocacy is the pro
cess of using the knowledge for the purpose of supporting the social changes in the community. These can be done by implementation of government policies, procedures and laws by bringing changes in the community through education, health service improvements, transportation; delivering community based services, greater accountability; decentralization of the decision making policies of the government and enacting and protecting the new laws of the civil rights associations (Center for Society Orientation, 2013).

The advocacy in relation to the human and social service legislation is extremely significant at both the state and the community level due to the fact that they provide various services to the communities and the victims; they may be appointed or acts as volunteers and these appointed or volunteering professionals works directly towards the safeguarding and protecting the life of the victims.
