Concept of Business Decision Analytics
Decision-making is part of everyday life and in order to follow progressive life, individuals are required to continue follow decision making. However, every day decision making is distinct from business decision-making. The choice between course of action and strategy could be considered as a very difficult task for many of the professionals. As evident from the modules also, theoretical concept of decision-making seems very easy.
However, practical implications of those concepts could be very difficult. Further, analysis of the decision and its consequences is another part of decision-making. There are certain set of rules and tools, which I follow while making decisions and these will be discussed below.
Personal Decision Making From Past Days
Hedreen (2019) suggested that decision making in everyday life is highly distinct compared to decision making in business; however, I believe the foundation of decision-making comes from a very early stage in life that is, by making every day decision. Therefore, I try to be proficient with respect to my every day decisions and I continue to use a strategic planning in order to solve the presented problem or issue.
One of the essential decisions, I made in the previous week was to decide between purchasing a mobile phone or a bike. This was majorly because I had funds only for one of the entity mentioned before. I needed a bike to commute between distant places for work as well as other works. On the other hand, I needed a new mobile phone in order to continue with my social life and study, which was being hampered because of malfunctioning.
