Introduction and overview
I am appointed as the director for the Office of Emergency Management in the U.S.
I will be presenting latest emergency operations plan (EOP) to the mayor in the next council meeting
This EOP will be presented to them mainly as the officials are quite concerned in terms of responding to the major earthquake

The EOP for the earthquake will consist of some of the main elements
This plan will also highlight disaster-specific process that needs to be implemented during the earthquakes (Ceferino et al., 2020).
The response demands of the following individuals will be met: state, federal, schools, nursing home etc.

Emergency management elements
The emergency manager, volunteer staff with regard to the emergency operations will be contributing toward efforts in the state’s preparedness, response and recovery (Xu, Nyerges & Nie, 2014).
As a responsible director for the Office of Emergency Management I will be ensuring that all entities adhere to all procedures and policies
