Power relations are interactions wherein one individual possesses socio-formative power over the other and can drive the other individual to accomplish what they intend, whether through compulsory acquiescence or in the least compulsive and also more humorous manner. Whilst children are growing up with their everyday situations, whether joyful or unpleasant, their lives reveal the intricate structure of power relations in humanity's ideological framework (Eidsvåg & Rosell, 2021). Several children utilizes relational power to gain power and influence, whereas others utilizes power to develop play circumstances in early childhood centers, with other children, or with family. According to one study, in 66 percent of instances, the child stated a preference for a specific cereal, and in the majority of those situations, the family complied with the cereal preference. Whenever the goods were principally for children's demand, families were more inclined to comply with product demand (Hanson et al., 2018).
Moreover, children are often not passive participants in such complex power dynamics, but rather active agents.
