Project – Process Mapping O - P H H Part 1 - Sales Process A. You will prepare activity model, rules and BPMN model from the assigned narrative below. Alternatively, you may create a narrative of a sales process from your employer (with pre-approval) and complete the requirements below. Requirements: 1. Write and annotate a narrative from the bullet points for the assigned process. 2. Prepare an activity model for the process. 3. Create Basic BPMN Activity Model. 4. Create Business Plan Rules (for example, rules any key decision points) 5. Create BPMN Model, with relevant swim-lanes. Be sure to include the tables (data stores). Additionally, identify the primary key and foreign key for each table. Process H · Harry’s Hats customers go to their website. · Customers select items that they may want to purchase and customer enters their credit card information for payment. · When searching for products, if the product is in inventory, the customer receives a notice that the product will ship within 24 hours; if not in stock, the customer receives a notification that the item will ship within 5 business days. · The customer places the order, enters their shipping information and payment information (credit card or paypal) · When the order is complete, the warehouse receives the order. · If in stock, the warehouse pulls the item and prepares the shipping documents. · The item and shipping document are sent to the loading dock to load onto the common carrier for shipping at the end of the day. · If the item is not in stock, the warehouse orders from approved vendor (outside this process) Part 2 - Purchasing B. Create BPMN Model, with relevant swim lanes Process H · Harry’s Hats warehouse staff is responsible for inventory of finished goods and raw materials. · When inventory levels for finished goods reach 20% of expected monthly sales, the warehouse and manufacturing department receive a system alert. · When inventory levels for each raw material reach 25% of expected materials needed for monthly production, the warehouse and purchasing department receive a system alert. · The purchasing department searches existing vendors for available materials and best prices. · The purchasing agent selects the best price and available products and places order · The warehouse receives the goods from the supplier · The warehouse records the goods and notifies accounts payable · Accounts payable pays the supplier according to the credit terms
